How to Easily Change the Date and Time on a Verifone VX520 Desktop Terminal

This video will show merchants and Independent Sales Organizations (ISO) you How to Easily Change the Date and Time in a Verifone VX520 Desktop Terminal. Often merchants have issues with batch time on their terminal primarily related to those that follow Day Light Savings Time.

Step by Step Instructions :

Verifone VX520 AMP Payment Systems

1.) You will hit the GREEN enter key

2.) Next prss F2 which should access the setup menu

3.) You will be prompted to enter the password. The default password is typically 1 Alpha Alpha 66831

4.) After entering the password press the GREEN enter key

5.) Next you’ll press the far left purple key under the screen 4 times until you see Date/Time

6.) Press F1 to access the Date/Time Menu

7.) You will then be prompted to enter the date. Do so by entering the 2 digit month, the 2 digit day and the 4 digit year. Then press the GREEN enter key

8.) The next screen is where you will enter the time. It is always best to enter the time in military format to ensure you are entering the correct time. For example, entering 8:00 pm would be keyed into the terminal as 170000. Once you entered the correct time, press the GREEN enter key.

9.) You will then be directed back to the setup menu. Press the red x key 2 times which will bring you back to the main menu screen. The correct date/time should now be displayed on the screen.
